Malgrat que la eina principal de treball a la matèria de Disseny (2n curs del Batxillerat d’Arts) és el bloc de dibuix, vam observar a les proves trimestrals que el nivell creatiu dels exercicis de disseny gràfic era molt baix. Provablement vam dedicar més temps del compte a realitzar exercicis finals molt ben acabats (tant de tècniques tradicionals com digitals) i ens vam oblidar d’insistir en les primeres fases del procès creatiu: els esbossos.

Aquest segon trimestre estem intentant solucionar aquest problema dedicant sessions de treball intenses a aquesta modalitat de dibuix.
Concretament estem estudiant el mòdul de disseny gràfic a partir exclussivament d’exercicis ràpids que a més es poden treballar semipresencialment. Aquest mòdul afecta a temes més amplis com ara estructures bidimensionals, color i simetries. També ens iniciarem d’aquesta manera amb les primeres estructures tridemensionals (packaging).

El segon treball, ja més elaborat, va consistir en la proposta de rebranding de les marques: IKEA, Super3, Milka i Dunkin Donuts. Totes elles propostes del propis alumnes. Inicialment vam fer un document compartit d’idees associades a les marques.

La base d’aquest treball va ser l’estudi d’un cas particular de rebranding de Cacaolat, realitzat pel dissenyador Íñigo Jerez. Com veieu a poc a poc es tracta de que els croquis siguin cada vegada més exactes i definits. La darrera imatge correspon a un esbós a llapis del dissenyador que vam fer servir per observar la situació exacta dels punts de tangència de les diferents corbes, un element que costa molt de concretar a la majoria d’alumnes.
